On the south-east coast, about midway between Veraval and Dwarka in Gujarat, Porbandar is located. It is the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Dhows are still built here and fish-drying is an important activity here. Porbandar produces gold and silver trinkets, manufactures fine quality silk and cotton.

 Gopnath Beach:

                        Gopnath Beach is a beach situated in the Bhavnagar district of Gujarat state of India. It is located into Talaja Taluka. It is located on the coast of the Gulf of Kambhat, at a distance of 75 km from the city of Bhavnagar. and 22 Km. away from Talaja. Gopnath is a pristine beach known for its natural beauty. There is nice fort of king of Gohilvad in Gopnath.

Tithal Beach:

                    Tithal Beach is a beach near Valsad town in Indian state of Gujarat. It lies 5 km from Valsad. It is a tourist attraction in the coastal region of Valsad, overlooking the Arabian sea. It has many tourist attractions including some grand temples like, Shri Sai Baba & Shri Swami Narayan. The Indian government has funded in the development of the area, due to its popularity with local and foreign tourists alike. There are plenty of stalls and shops selling various kinds like Bajiya, Dabeli, Bhel Chat Coconut water and of souvenirs; you will also get the Amercian Maize (known as American Makaai) along with some delicious and spicy masaalas spreaded on it. You will also find places to eat both indoors and outdoors with plenty of choice from a full meal to traditionally prepared snacks. There is also a play area for children, public toilets and hotels.

Ahmedpur Mandvi Beach:

                    Ahmedpur Mandvi Beach is situated on the coastline of the state of Gujarat, India. It is located in Ahemdpur Mandvi, Dist. Junagadh, which is the historic port town of Maharao of Kutch. This is a beautiful and an unexplored beach and has a lot of scope of tourism.

Umbergaon:

                    Umbergaon is a census town in Valsad district in the Indian state of Gujarat.

Umbergaon is also known as Umergam or Umargaon. It has a long, wide beach with eco-environment with no pollution. It is ideal for meditation and relaxation.

Some 20% of the population are fishermen and 20% industrialists. It is near Vapi.

Demographics

                s of 2001 India census, Umbergaon had a population of 21,648. Males constitute 55% of the population and females 45%. Umbergaon has an average literacy rate of 71%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 78%, and female literacy is 62%. In Umbergaon, 14% of the population is under six years of age.

Chorwad Beach:

                Chorwad Beach - Chorwad Beach of Gujarat is another splendid beach situated on the west coast of India. It is situated at a distance of 66 km from Junagadh. Chorwad has a high potential of attracting both domestic as well as international tourists. The beach constitutes of rocky hills and presents opportunity for thrilling boat rides.

Diu Beach:

     Diu Beach - Diu beach is situated off the Saurashtra coast and is connected to the state of Gujarat via a causeway. Diu is a secluded island and does not have much population. This makes it the place ideal for a serene vacation, away from the worries of daily life.
